I don’t always eat breakfast, but I know its important. I’m a commuter who doesn’t wake up early so I need something easy. I like these new Belvita breakfast bisquits because 1. They are easy 2. They are really good. 3. I feel like unlike those silly breakfast bars these things actually fill you up. They come in apple cinnamon, blueberry and golden oat. If you like your breakfast on the sweet side, try blueberry.. the other versions are much less sweet but very tasty. They are thick enough to dunk in your coffee but I’m not a believer in dunking anything. Thats just nonsense to me

Im a sneezing machine. Allergies – I have them all year long.
Normally, I buy the tissue with the lotion in it. And it helps to keep my nose from chafing – but I recently bought Kleenexs new Cool Touch tissues, and Im amazed. The tissues feel like they came out of the fridge. Not sure how they do it, because the tissue actually feels cold on your face. Their website says its a special blend of cooling ingredients, me personally, I think its magic.

Simple, and delicious. Larabars were finally on sale at Shoprite, so I stocked up. Now that the world is paying more attention to chemicals and other partially hydrogenated junk, it surprises me that Larabars arent more well known. These things are awesome. Its got a list of ingredients you can count on one hand (sometimes two), and they taste ridiculously good. If you havent tried one, get on it.

My husband drinks a lot of protein shakes. Most of them taste pretty horrible. I picked up a can of Natures Plus Vegetarian Fruitein – in Exotic Red Fruit. Its loaded with red fruits and vegetables – and when mixed with milk (I mix it with So Delicious Coconut Milk) it tastes absolutely delicious. Like a fruit smoothie. Check the ingredients list – its got every red fruit you could want (Pomegranate, Goji, Noni, Acai, Raspberry, Strawberry, and even some none red fruits like apricot, pineapple, pear and guava. I feel like its a girly protein shake, although my hubby likes it too.

My newest addiction. Newton Fruit thins are these little cracker-like cookies that have this wonderful thin shortbread consistency, with little chunks of fruit bits and whole wheat. I have tried every variety, thanks to my couponing habit and I can say that each flavor hits the spot. Not too sweet, perfect. This will be the next big thing in snacks.

I have been waiting for a theatre where it would be acceptable to whip a big mac out of my purse and enjoy it like I do when I watch movies at home. Finally, I no longer need to smuggle food in – enter AMC dine-in theatres. The concept is simple, movie theatre with a little table, and waiters that take and bring your order to you. While I understand that this is new, I will say that I am adding this to my site – because the idea is brilliant – but it has some little details that need to be worked out. At Menlo Park, my experience was lacking. At the bar before the show, there was a crowd, not waiting for drinks – suprisingly, waiting to pay. It seemed that there was 1 girl who had some knowledge of what she was doing, while the rest sort of stood around not knowing what to do. I waited about 20 minutes and 3 trips from the bartender who kept bringing my credit card back saying she would ring me out in a few minutes. I sat staring at all the useless people just twiddling their thumbs, waiting for a manager to come and tell them what they should be doing.

Shame on you, AMC. You are taking advantage of the fact that you are the only movie theatre I know that serves food. Ofcourse I’ll be back. I like to eat and watch movies. So other than lacking service (They didnt bring my drinks before my food, the ketchup container was empty and didn’t get refilled after we asked, they gave me the wrong burger (which I would’ve protested if I could see it) and at the end I got someone elses credit card)

All that said, I still am posting it on www.itryilike.com because for now, I like it. Now when I see another theatre do it better, Im sure AMC will slip over to the darker side (www.itryidislike.com)

Think Oreos. But better. No trans fats, but don’t let that fool you into eating the whole carton.. Like I did. They are delish.
