I bought this because it seemed like the perfect solution for NYC weather. Heat (hot hot) heat, and humidity.. Anything that can lessen my fro when it gets as humid as ny does would be a blessing. I really like this product, it smells incredible and the scent really lasts but more importantly it smooths my hair out.. Mind you, you’d better have a nice blow out before you put this on – it doesn’t do everything, but it does keep your hair in check without making it heavy or weighed down.. I use it when we get into the rainy months as well and when there is a ton of moisture in the air this keeps my hair in unfrizzified shape. Worth the cost $22 at www.sephora.com
My step mom introduced me to this, she drinks a lot of tea and always makes this when I visit. The taste is sweet cinnamon, with a spiciness of licorice and orange. The only tea I’ve tried that actually tastes better without any sugar. This is a very sweet tea – very good iced as well. A very unique taste – hard to find, i stock up on a few boxes at Trader Joes whenever I visit California. Or buy online $4.79 at www.goodearthteas.com

Eau de Gloss is a high water content gloss.. moisturizing, and shiny but not sticky. Its got a little menthol in it so its very slightly cooling, not any flavor to it. Is supposed to last 4 hours, but I lick my lips a lot, so it lasts less for me, i do lick a little less because its not really a lickable gloss – but it is definitely a refreshing and perfect for the summer. I like it in clear. $15 at http://www.sephora.com/
I have always had a fondness for spoons. I dunno what it is. As a child, I remember asking my mom that she leave me our spoons when she died. (I was too young to realize that wasnt a nice thing to ask) – So back to the spoons – I like these because they are perfect for eating my desserts (in little baby size portions – i feel like Im eating more) – they are 4.95 for a single spoon, get a couple. They are also perfect to add to a foodie condiment gift basket, or for serving your sugar for tea.. or really any other condiment.. at Crate & Barrel www.crateandbarrel.com
I tried this in the clear, and loved it – now they have an spf 15 and for that reason alone – it is on my website. Basically, if you use foundation – you should be using a primer. It helps keep it in place, and keeps your face from getting all greasy halfway through the day. I have oily skin, so this helps my foundation wear longer. And when you put it on, it makes your skin soft and powdery smooth. Its like a powder gel. Even if you dont wear foundation, this stuff makes your skin look younger and softer. $42 for .98 oz. on http://www.sephora.com/
At first, I was skeptical – using something thats made of virgin olive oil to wash my face? but ofcourse, I will try anything and this stuff really takes every molecule of your makeup off and leaves your skin soft at the same time. Another thing I like about the company (which a lot of people haven’t even heard of http://www.dhccare.com/ ) is that when you buy, they send you plenty of samples.. then every few weeks they will send you a catalogue with even more samples inside, And you KNOW i love free samples.
