This spice is my secret weapon in all my martha stewarty cakes.. Its a blend of china cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, allspice, cloves and ginger.
Generally I use it when a recipe calls for cinnamon..its got much more complexities than cinnamon alone.. Im lucky enough to have a Penzeys right downstairs from work at Grand Central Market, but if you want to bake like lil vettie you can also buy it online.. Good stuff
